Research to
Video Studio.
One prompt in, a researched presentation video out. It finds official sources, writes the story from their exact words, builds it from 300+ catalogued animated parts, renders 1920×1080 with music and sound effects, and checks every frame before it ships.
GitHub repoSet up with one prompt.
Open Claude Code in an empty folder — the CLI (claude) or the desktop app's Code tab — and paste this.
Claude installs what's missing (Node 22+, ffmpeg, ImageMagick), downloads the packages, Remotion's Chrome and the music, then makes the video.
Before you start
- A Claude Pro or Max plan — the Claude Code CLI, or the desktop app’s Code tab
- A free Firecrawl key (firecrawl.dev) — the free credits cover several videos
- About 5 GB of free disk space — a video takes 30–60 minutes, mostly rendering
- Remotion’s licence — free for individuals and companies of up to 3 people
How a job runs
Source
Scrapes the official pages with Firecrawl and saves them to source.json.
Story
Picks the angle and beats, every fact copied word for word from the source.
Storyboard
Each beat gets a shape — list, number up, claim — and 2–3 scored candidate parts from the catalogue.
Look
Renders a still of every beat, reads them, fixes, repeats.
Render
Renders the MP4, then checks size, frame rate, duration, loudness and one frame per second.
Ship
Hands over the video plus SHIPPED.md (sources, beats, what was left out) — or STOPPED.md with the reason.
Other ways in
Manual setup
git clone, add a Firecrawl key to .env, npm run setup, then ask Claude Code for a video.
claude.ai/code
Fork the repo first, then connect it with full network access and your Firecrawl key as an environment variable.
GitHub Codespaces
Add FIRECRAWL_API_KEY as a Codespaces secret on your fork, open a 4-core codespace, run claude.
What this fixes
